Windy Harbour Corporate Clays, set in Glossop on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire, offer clay pigeon shooting experiences, fun days and corporate days.

You will find an entirely relaxed, family run business who enjoy the sport and want to encourage more people to try it and hopefully take it up. From your initial enquiry to the day itself you can be assured of our very best intentions. Our friendly instructors provide full tuition and a variety of targets. Whether you are a complete beginner or consider yourself a bit of a shot, one thing you can be sure of is a very warm welcome.

Situated in Glossop, Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District with spectacular scenery, Windy Harbour Farm Hotel can also provide conference facilities, accommodation and catering. Why not start the day with a bacon sandwich? Take a spot of lunch? Afternoon Tea? Or perhaps you’d sooner finish with an evening meal.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us. That is why we undertake a full safety induction prior to taking you into the field. Ear and eye protection are provided. Safety remains a prime feature of your instruction. All our instructors are regular clay pigeon shooters. They are all licensed to handle a shotgun and to supervise others in the operation of such. All equipment is provided and all tuition is included.

While only a short distance away from our hotel, access to the shooting ground takes in farm tracks and some off road terrain. Not that the terrain need worry you – we transport you from the hotel to the shoot and back again … so that’s an off-roading experience thrown in as well. It's a sport which the whole family can enjoy. We have no age limit, our only proviso being that any participant has to be able to demonstrate they can handle a shotgun safely.
